Nightlight

In my favourite city, I don’t want to look at anything else
Many things are happening, many people stop to say hi
The streets welcome me to endless chatter, but I don’t want to be distracted
I just want to pretend that the lights from these shops are beautiful nightlights
Clattering my teeth, I waited urgently for the nightlights come into vision
Soft and colourful, speaking to me the ways to go back home
